If you are a new player skip this game its not fun to play against things you cannot counter.With the Open Beta on the horizon, World of Warships has dredged the deep and hauled some awesome pre-orders bundles onto dry land. You would think that an event that your players like should be kept but, profits win out. To top it off their monetization is hilarious, each year they do an anniversary event and this year its garbage and the only reason is they want more money. Why are submarines in a good players hands impossible to find? Why can a submarine pop to the surface and throw torpedoes into the face of a destroyer who is mean to counter them. Why can a carrier player repetitively strike a boat that is supposed to have good Anti Air and their is no penalty(wow they lose 1 plane per squadron and I lose a portion of my health I cannot get back even with a heal). The community has asked for balance changes for two classes carriers and submarines which are overpowered and have little counters.
I have played over 2k hours and spent thousands on this game and I am a 55% win rate player, I have the best boats but, what does it matter when the devs do not listen to their community. I was waiting to do this review for over a year now hoping their would be changes that benefit the game.
